You never know cause the Cardinals are going to continue to fall off a bit, I don't like Pierre at leadoff and that pitching rotation looks pretty brutal, you know Prior will be out half the year and the rest of those guys outside of Zambrano are suspect. Unless you average about 7 runs a game, I don't see this team getting into the playoffs again for a long time. Sorry, but just giving you an educated answer, I'm an Indians fan so I know what it's like to suffer.

Yes, the Chicago Cubs will not only make the Postseason in 2007, but the Cubs WILL WIN THE WORLD SERIES and their first World Series in 99 Years against the Chicago White Sox or the Detroit Tigers (which will be a rematch of the 1907 World Series).

First of all, Miguel Tejada isn't going to be in a Cubs uniform anytime soon. Second...Mark Prior has got to prove that he can stay healthy as does Wade Miller. Marmol has to stop walking 5 people a game, and they're not getting anywhere near the post-season with Dusty Baker managing their team.
In order to get a guy like Tejada...Aramis Ramirez will have to be in the package.
Sorry. It'd be nice to see the Cubs in the playoffs, but I don't think they're line up will look like that at all.

there not gettin either. So with that said theres no chance. The cards take the division again and the wild card goes to the Reds or some other division team. uve got pitching but ur trying to get the best players. But thats not how a team is made its made with teamwork. Look at the Tigers or White Sox. Tigers arent really that good. But they can work together. 2nd to last to 1st. That oughta tell ya somethin! sad but true :(
Sorry!

I doubt Tejada will go to the cubs and belliard will leave the cardinals so no they need a lot more pitching because Prior is past his prime and they need a lot of help if they even want to win

you're funny. the cubs won't get tejada. i din't think the pitching is strong enough, but if prior and miller stay healthy, and they truly had this lineup, i think they would have a good chane of making it to the postseason.

youve completely given up on kerry wood huh? yes they would make the playoffs like that if they get tejada and if Prior can stay healthy. The national league is just so bad they could win the pennant like that but not the world series. The biggest weakness there is the lack of a big lefty bat.

I am with you, man. Let's start a prayer thread for the Cubbies. I was in Miami for game 3 of the NLCS 2003. We were soooo close...then came Bartman!
Keep me posted on the prayer circle...I'm in!
