i like The young and the restless, and The Bold and the beautiful, their lives are so great, their hair is always perfect and they never wear the same thing twice, i know this is not possible, their storylines are so out of this world i mean who would be in a coma over ten times in their life, why am i so damn hooked????
oh and by the way i have a job and a very fullfilling life, so no stupid answers telling me i have no life!!!!

Yes they're VERY addictive. Especially since they're always to-be-continued........you're always left wondering " What's gonna happen nEXT????".
My grandmother has been hooked on them all her life and my mother had a hard time breaking the habit. I even work with GUYS who go home to watch their "stories". I've caught glimpses of them every now and then and I can see myself getting hooked too but I'm determined to stay away from them. I already have ONE bad habit too many--Yahoo Answers ;)

Yes I think that they are addictive. I too watch Y& R; I get upset on Fridays when it gets good then goes off and have to wait until Monday

Yes they are addictive. My sister got me hooked on Dark Shadows. The next thing I knew I was watching the whole ABC line up. I saw All My Children's first episode.
It must fulfill some need we have that we cannot yet identify.
But I'm still watching.

addictions are just that u are used to being in that zone, its just like a cracker, the shows require u to do more just like other addicts

soap operas take u to a totally nother world but please keep in mind its not only soap operas that r addictive it can be sitcoms too. i am addicted to geneeral hospital and charmed
