I need a new phone. Does anybody have some good recommendations?

i don't need much, just good service with 500+ minutes, speaker phone, and if it's cheap, maybe a camera.

NO! WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T GET A RAZR! They break so easily! Two months after I got my silver RAZR I broke it by just flipping it open! If you drop the RAZR it's gone! Get a Samsung T809. They're not skinny, but they are slim. It's a slider phone. It's $149 with plan, not too bad. It's has an MP3 Player, games, a camera, a video player (and camera), a web browser, and Bluetooth. It's a T-Mobile phone. Don't get the D807, it's pictures have lower quality than the T809 and it's an UPDATE of the T809. So get the T809. I have it, it's nice phone.

I do not recommend the razor, I haven't got it but I was tempted to upgrade to it although the mobile phone I have now has lasted me for 4 years-and I know a lot of people who got this phone (razor) for it to be a bitter regret for many

I wanted a phone where I could have my PC link, a good camera on it and text, and that is what mine does, and still going strong after 4 years (EXCELLENT images) yet it has no MP3 player etc or bluetooth.
My children and ex all now has bluetooth so they can exchange music and images for free but one thing I have noticed about the blue tooth is the images aren't as clear as the ones without, maybe others can give their opinions here too, but the bluetooth can save lots of money if the phone is for music and images and just keeping up with friends really.
My twin has 02 (Genie card) which gives you A LOT of free text time if you buy just 10 pound a month credit on it, so don't just go for what the phone does, think of the network too.

This phone is prob THE BEST on the market.

Get a Sony erricson K750i, or 800i.

These are essentially 2mega pixel digital cameras, mp3 players, built in radio, bluetooth tecno, infared techno.
External memory card (no need to piull the phone apart) handy for printing your pics from memory card.

I have had one of these for over a year now, nad honestly I dont think anything is out there to rival them, and trust me! I OWN A CELL PHONE SHOP!!!!

Cellphone? That's a personal choice for the features provided.

Landline? I just picked up a Uniden system at Staple for 39 bucks. It's wireless, plus came with two handsets, plus a home base with a remote base for another room.. Perfect for apartment with only one phone Jack. Phone Jills are not compatible.

Get a Sony Ericson. It has the longest talk time and standby time. Make a check at the respective phone provider and teleco site to get their specification and price. Or visit any auction site for a good deal eg yahoo or ebay.

Nokia is the best brand of cell phone made! They have the longest battery life and the best reception! I have a 6101 and I only have to charge my battery once a week and my reception is great, I also had the 3220 and it was just as good! My hubby has had lots of Motorolla phones and he has to charge the every couple days and his reception isn't as good!

The razr from motorola can be bought at Cingular, Tmobile, Verizon Wireless, Metro PCS, and more. It's a great phone.

T-Mobile is the best believe me! I have known so many people with different services like Sprint etc who aren't happy and are switching to T-Mobile. It's the best way to go. I have a Samsung phone and they are the best. I know a lot of people with one and they are happy with it.

HELIO is only 200 bucks and its so cool helio.com you need to see it features internet pictures video eveythign the whole package and for 60 bucks a month you 500minutes and unlimited texting internet service and data transfer! and for 6 dollars you can buy the waranty so if you loose it you get a new one !
