My 5-yr old daughter is starting Kindergarten at the end of the month. I dont want to go overboard with an expensive wardrobe, but I want her to look nice for her first year of school. Any Moms with advice?

WEll my son is 5 and going in kidergarten too. I plan to buy him new sneakers and shoes, at least 4 pairs of jeans, a few sweaters and some tshirts. Probably new underwear and socks too. I like to shop at old navy for him becasue they have adorable clothing. My daughter is 8 going in grade 4 and I will probably buy her new bows for hair, shoes, jeans a skirt, sweater a few cute tshirts with sayings on them and new undergraments. Walmart is good because they have a mk and ashley line - barbie and princesses too. Zellers has trolls and hilary duff. Walmart has that garuntee - if it wears out before your child out grows it then they will replace it. Thats always good - just be sure to save receipts. Good luck :)

Depends on how often you do laundry. If you wash all the clothes once a week, you'd want enough to have some extra (9-11 outfits) in case you get backed up on the day you normally do laundry. Interchangable outfits are great too.

I'm not a mom but when I started school, til the day I graduated from High School, My friends and I always had 10 different outfits.

We would go 2 weeks before having to repeat an outfit.

I'm pretty sure, that's standard.

10 different outfits.

My stepdaughter is amazingly tall and narrow, and that i have found the objective and previous army look to have the jeans that in good structure her suited. I fantastically like previous army, because i could purchase low upward thrust jeans for her (she is 5, and under no circumstances all and distinctive contains low upward thrust for that length it style of feels) which also facilitates with the aid of way she is outfitted, if i do no longer purchase the low upward thrust, they continuously look bunched up contained in the crotch section, which i could imagine is particularly uncomfortable. the objective jeans i purchase her are both the Circo style or the Mossimo style, I actually have had reliable success with both. They both also carry jeans which have the adjustable inner waistband, which facilitates alot because she is amazingly narrow. so a options as permitting them to p.c.., I let her p.c.. out some, and that i also p.c.. out some. I also many times purchase some clothing from Walmart (which dont in good structure as well) that she will be in a position to positioned on on days that i recognize she will be in a position to be portray, playing outside contained in the sand, or another no longer-so-clean pastime because it style of feels that in recent times the faculty does no longer require the little ones to positioned on a smock like we used to at the same time as i replaced right into a baby. with any success this facilitates you!
