I got a '03 Honda TRX 450 FM that's running on 2 wheel drive even tho I have it on 4 wheel drive on the handle bar selector. The 4 wheel indicator on the console is lit and doesn't blink to show that there is a problem. Any ideas on how I can get my 4 wheel drive back? Thanks.

The 2/4-wheel drive control motor on the F cover is probably bad. I've fixed a couple. Same thing as yours. The indicator light shows no problem. Move the handle bar selector switch back and forth while listening to the control motor. You should hear it shifting if it's working. To be 100% sure that is the problem, get a shop manual. It'll tell you how to test the motor while it's off the quad, to rule out any electrical problems with the quad's wiring and switch.
-If you do hear the selector motor, remove it and look in the cover for any problems. You might have to remove the F cover.
-To remove the F drive shaft -
-Unbolt the final drive case from the frame.
-Pull it forward (you might have to remove the F axles) and remove the shaft.
-Remove the shaft frome the engine.
-It's a little involved.
