If I pee everyday in a canal that leads to the River would it pollute water enough to measure?

River less than 1000 feet.
It a big river and flows North

If the water in the canal is running freely and reasonably full, within 2 miles from your PP (peeing point) the urine gets fully neutralized.

Now, how far is the PP from the river?

Of course, yes.
Probably in a non measurable amount at first. But, if every body do the same, everyday (as in fact, we do to other rivers), you will soon measure how polluted that water becomes.

No, but if the urine from a city ran into a river daily it would indeed pollute it. I would say remember the next time you drink water it might be from that canal - purified and filtered of course.

Need most effective and easy method to clean water for drinking prupose. Water can be as dirty as polluted river water.

Yes. That's the basic reason behind water treatment centers. It kills water plant life too.
