I am painting my room with 2 coats of primer then paint. If I draw all over my room with sharpies first (I have been wanting to do that for a long time. It looks like fun.), will you be able to see it through the primer and paint????????
Thank you!!!!!!!!
p.s I just put this in the "DIY" category because I have no clue what category to put the question in.

To be on the safe side, don't use black. You might have to prime it a little more than 2 coats if it is a very dark color on a very light color.
You are looking for consistency, so sharp changes in color will show up more than if it were just a uniform color throughout the wall.

Experiment with just a corner in your room. Then if you can see the sharpie after you paint over it, then at least it's in the corner and you can put a piece of furniture to cover it.

The markers will show through with just primer. There is a product out there called "KILZ". You put it on like paint; it can even be tinted like primers can be. Kilz is used to cover-up abnormalities on paintable surfaces.

It depends on the color paint you'll try to cover it up with. If it's light, it will definitely take a few coats.

You could use pastel water color markers! If you use dark sharpies I would think they will show through! Test a closet first.

Yes I think it will still bleed through. Just to be sure do it in the closet or behind the door in a small spot.

it might cover it if you use a few coats of primer but then again it might come through....why don't you just write on your walls with non permanent marker?
