I love a neat, clean, clutter-free home, but alas, I am not good at it. However, I have the BEST tip/trick. I call my family and friends and invite them over for a party. Then voila! The house is spotless because then I have to get off my you-know-what and clean it up. Works like a charm. :)

J23- You bring up an excellent point. Most guys just don't care, at least the ones I live with. My biggest clutter free habit is throwing all the clutter in a Hefty bag.

My hand is up high! Probably my biggest clutter free habit is "clean as you go". When I finish using something, it's either put away or thrown away.

I still live with my parents. Ever since I was little and even still now, because there is some clutter, whenever I need anything it's always in arm's reach. It's great.

I hate-hate-hate clutter. It drives me absolutely to distraction. Unfortunately, I am not good at decluttering, so I live with a certain amount of it. Hopefully, after we move to a bigger house with bigger rooms and an attached garage with an attic, I will be able to tame the beast.

My hand is definatley up! I use the 'clean as you go' way too. I use storage containers and stack them up in my storage closet. I keep everything neat and clean too. That helps things look organized. I love shelves and my biggest motto is if I cant find a place to keep it then I probably dont need it.

Every comercial break I pick up or clean up 10 things or more.
Example: fold ten items, put away ten items, dust 10 items, wash ten dishes.
Also, I throw out clothes I didn't wear in the last season.
Finally, I got rid of things that I stored but rarely used.

i'm not sure approximately all libraries, yet Cobb County Library will take your used books and supply you a tax deductable reciept. They sell the used books at a huge e book sale at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta each and every so many times and use the money to function/strengthen computers and upload books.
