how do i use a picture i scanned to find a pair of shoes i want to buy?

Internet search engines arent smart enough yet that given a scanned image, can look up stuff for you.
If you have the name of the shoe or type, you can enter it into http://search.yahoo.com and look for it.

You could post the picture someplace and then link to the picture in a question here on Yahoo Answers. Then, people can go look at the picture you've scanned, see if they can identify the shoes, and tell you where you can buy them.
