Due to health concerns, Europe has banned the import of American beef raised using hormones, steroids and antibiotics. In our opinion there are NO "safe" hormone, steroid or antibiotic residues for our families to consume in beef. Here is an interesting loophole used by many large producers . . . cattle in feedlots will almost assuredly need prophylactic antibiotics. Their unnatural diet of grain and by-products require antibiotics to keep them from crashing. Do NOT allow your beef supplier to play word games . . . your beef supplier should NOT allow therapeutic or prophylactic antibiotics.

We have banned eating cows that are feed and pumped up with chemicals.
We only buy meat that is hand feed and has no hormones, antibiotics and steroids. To be honest this meat taste so much better
The bad part is it cost alot more.

We also only buy organic milk and eggs
It may cost more now but in the future I know we will reap the health benefits

I suggest everyone else consider organic

I think another contributing factor to the obesity ratio in this country is due to a combination of distorted 'portion sizes, surplus consumption and an intert way of living.' I have been all over the world and yes, have seen heavy people but never 'obsceely' obese as the ones here in the states. Just fyi. . .

lol no. forget all that. there are tons of factors that would be the reason as to why most american's are heavy.
health problems
thyroid problems
or they just choose to eat a lot and/or eat but there is a lack of exercise
and most "american" foods are quite fattening....If you eat like from fast food places. But, I'm not fat and tons of other people that i know eat cows and are either underweight or at perfect weight! Therefore, you canrule all that out.

it's probably some anti-american thing they want going on.

Americans are fat because they stuff way too many calories down their gullet.

I'll continue to eat beef anyway. Steroid or not. Eat what you want, I'll eat what I want.

Did you know that macdonalds meat isn't really 100% real beef as they claim it is? The company that supplies their beef is named "100% real beef", thats how they get away with advertising that in their commercials.
