Most tribes you read about in history books are still around. Largest is the Navajo. Second is Cherokee. There are many Dakota-Nakota-Lakota (Sioux). For the most part, the Native Americans still lag behind but are generally on the upswing. They are some of our best and most loyal Americans.

the Nanokoke tribe of the Eastern Shore of Virginia the Arapokoke tribe of theEastern Shore of Maryland (It consists of about ten people and a couple a dogs) (no sh*t) there's a few Arapoahoe's here also.
