personally, i think male circumcision is also barbaric, unless used to treat a medical condition.

No. a) It's barbaric, and is designed to prevent females from enjoying sexual activity, whilst male pleasure is uninhibited.
b) it is usually carried out in cultures and countries where anaesthetic/antiseptic, and sterile environments are neither easy to come by, nor sought, hugely increasing the risk of both infection, and fatality through blood loss, pain and fear.
c) It has serious health risks attached, as it violates the body's hygiene defences and allows bacteria to enter the vagina etc.
It serves no purpose, and is in fact very dangerous to a female. No health professional in their right mind would support the notion, let alone the act.

Absolutely not! It's a demonstration of men's power over women who are treated like objects for breeding rather than valid people. It's a barbaric custom and should be outlawed in every country. And I agree with you about male circumcision - the day my son was 'done' was the worst day of my life.

In our culture(Nepalese culture) it is not practice. I think circumcision is of no use except in case for the medical treatment. circumcision not only for female but also for male, it is tourturing only and it's of no use.

You get all kinds of answers like these for female, but people DO male circumcisions more than they even talk about female circumcisions, and there's no dialogue about it. You people are biggots.
