Ok, I bought some wedge shoes at Payless. I got a 7 because 7.5 was too big. I feel I need a 7 and a quarter, but there is no such thing. A 7W is not available, but my feet are not fat anyway. I just want to make them a little bigger and they will be perfect.
(I know, I should have shopped elsewhere.)

7.5 slips out...I leave the shoe behind when I walk. 7 is good nost of the time. 7.25 would be NICE.
It felt fine in the store. I shopped wearing them.

I have never had any luck stretching PayLess shoes because most of the time they're made of plastic man made material that just goes back to it's original shape after you're done wearing them. I have the same problem you do-I need a 7.25W! I have a job where I am on my feet most of the day so I just bit the bullet & buy the more expensive leather clog style shoes. As it is, the cobbler STILL had to stretch them!
I wish you all the best in your shoe search

I buy Payless shoes because no one else has size 11 in stock for me to try on. They last just as long as $90 shoes, and look better in most cases. The only other choice I have is to buy men's shoes, and if I do that, I feel like I have knobby off-road tires on my feet! You might buy the smaller size and stretch them with a shoe-stretcher, or wear them around the house with thick socks on to stretch them out a little.

Really depends on what there made of? If leather then you can try stretching them with shoe horns.....another possibility is to try and stuff socks into them and stretch them out. Good rule of thumb is if there not comfortable in the store then dont buy them. Payless does tend to have a funny sizing program. I have never ever had luck with shoes I've bought from there. Good luck...I hope something will work for you....if there still new....take them back and try and exchange them? L.Butler

When it comes to Payless shoes, it is in my best interest to leave them on the shelf.

you need a 7W, you can stuff them with socks, etc. to stretch them a little, or just take them back a buy a different pair that fits properly

You may just need to wear them a while to break them in. Wear them for short periods at first so you don't get blisters. And don't soak them in water, or they may shrink.

They will stretch if you wear them. You can also get them wet and wear them until they dry....they will literally mold to your feet.... this has worked for my work boots. I don't know if it will work for women's shoes without ruining them....... but what the heck...You Paid LESS!!
