Dark Matter is invisible but only because nobody knows how it looks like.
They can try to make it Visible with the most powerful telescopes in the world but still are they really know what they see.
Dark Matter Actually the opposite of what the Humans know.
It is Dark because it does absorb light.
But there is a small mistake.
There is one thing nobody gives a thought about.
You see a galaxy clear through a Telescope.
How do you know that this what you see isn't mirrored?
The truth is that dark matter is invisible because it has a Mirror effect.
You look at it but you can not see it.

Because it is "dark".

Dark matter is a theory. From looking at the motions of stars and galaxies, there appears to be a lot of gravity out there holding things together. But if you count only the things that you can actually see through a telescope, there does not appear to be enough matter in the universe to account for all of the gravity. So there must be something out there that cannot be seen.

If dark matter is neutrinos, it is invisible because neutrinos are invisible.

If dark matter is dust or rocks or something, it cannot be seen because something has to be very bright to be seen at a distance of hundreds or thousands of light years. If you got close to it though, it would not be invisible anymore.

Dark matters are particle sized matters scattered ununiformly mostly in the inter galactic space. They have no own light and could not reflect any incoming light. This is why they are invisible to us.

If we knew what it was, we might know why we can't see it. Dark matter is the hypothetical mass that makes the behavior of galaxies conform to the laws of physics as we know them. So far, no actual dark matter has been identified. It could turn out that there is no dark matter and our physics needs fixing.

Because it is an inelegant hypothesis. There are a couple of Mathematicians who have come up with much more elegant hypotheses regarding the way the universe works, their theories take far less paper and are far easier and have no mysterious unseen matter or energy that "cannot be observed".

Dark Matter doesn't produce light. In fact, it may absorb or block light that passes through it. So when we look at a "blob" of dark matter, we see no light, and it appears dark.

because its real dark!! so dark there is no light therefore you'll never be able to see it. unless you shine a big LED light on a patch of it.
