how many programmers does it take to change a light bulb?

none, that's a hardware problem.

Depends on the scripting language.
If they are Apple programmers- 3- one to sip coffee and talk about how cool apples are- one to watch the progress- and one to change the light-bulb.
If they are Windows programmers- 5- one to determine what would be the best way to change the light-bulb- one to watch the progress of the Apple programmers- one to hold the ladder- one to yell at the entire group for taking to long- and one to steal the light bulb from the Apple guys after they have completed their project.

Ummm

A computer programmer happens across a frog in the road. The frog pipes up, "I'm really a beautiful princess and if you kiss me, I'll stay with you for a week". The programmer shrugs his shoulders and puts the frog in his pocket.

A few minutes later, the frog says "OK, OK, if you kiss me, I'll give you great sex for a week". The programmer nods and puts the frog back in his pocket.

A few minutes later, "Turn me back into a princess and I'll give you great sex for a whole year!". The programmer smiles and walks on.

Finally, the frog says, "What's wrong with you? I've promised you great sex for a year from a beautiful princess and you won't even kiss a frog?"

"I'm a programmer," he replies. "I don't have time for sex ... But a talking frog is pretty neat."

So the answer to the question:

NONE

Because they are laughing at this stupid joke

OR
Thinking I wish I had a frog like that!!!

Trick question - programmers never turn on the lights. It messes with the mushrooms that they grow on their toenails.

I agree with Brady ... I've gone for months without light generated from a source other than a CRT touching my eyes.
