I have two kids. Both times were unplanned. The first time the condom broke and I knew that it was the right time of the month for conceiving so I was very concerned. After many physical signs (breast tenderness, moodiness, and the final obvious missed perid) I took a pregnancy test. When it confirmed my suspicions, I just took it and handed it to my boyfriend. We needed each other to deal with the rather overwhelming feelings we were experiencing. The second time I was on the pill and using condoms (most of the time). I still got pregnant. Just this time I had my period for the first three months so just wrote off the physical changes (as mentioned above) to the stress of going back to school, juggling life with my disabled first son, and working full time. When I did finally take an at home test, again, I didn't want to believe it. So I did it two more times at different clinics. When I finally had to accept the truth, I again, just took the test strip and handed it to my boyfriend. We really needed each other the second time around. No regrets though. I love my children. They are my light in the dark. They help me to not give up my goal of finishing school. I should end up with a coulple of degrees when I'm done. good luck! If this is really difficult for you. Lean on your family, a very good friend, and trust that in everthing God has a great plan for you and your growing family.

First of all make sure that you are, and then depending on who it is that you are trying to tell, make it as easy on yourself as possible. Because the longer that you wait to tell someone, the harder it gets for you.
If it is your parents, sit them sown and just tell them that they are going to be grandparents sometime soon.
If it is the "dad" of the baby, just take another pregnancy test while he is home or with you and show him the test. Enough said. This is what I did and it went smoother then I thought was going to happen.
Also it depends on how old you are, if you are 19 and younger it might be more difficult then if you were older. But either way, God Luck and Congrats!!!

In person, alone, while they are in a calm state and environment. Be prepared for any reaction, maybe have someone available as a shoulder to cry on if the reaction is negative or not what you expected. Know what you want and make sure you put it forth in a strong way, don't beat around the bush. You are not alone!!

Don't do the yellow pages thing and wait till he is getting an insurence quote for his 2 seater pride and joy!! Go on a night out with loads of women he knows, when they offer to buy you a drink say 'no thanks' and look sheepish. Before you know it they will be talking about you in the loo, taxi, work, until he finally finds out. Other than that just sit him down...
Good luck with the bambino x

If it is good news and you are trying to be a little creative, you could try a tshirt or card that says grandma, daddy, etc. If you are trying to "break" the news to someone, honesty is always the best policy, you just have to come right out and tell them.

Straight and to the point. It takes two and if the other person is male he needs to know. If its your parents best tell them straight out also. The flac lasts a few days but it will get sorted.

My way was just saying. I'm soooooooooooo happy, we're gonna have a baby. It's something you only get to say a couple of times in your life, so do it with a lot of love. Super great luck to you.
