please tell me which one you think is better metal or emo music and why? give some good reasons...

Well this is hard.But now a days most people are into Emo music.Because its awesome.I mean metal and emo orginated from rock,soo rock is awesome!But i prefer emo:-)but their both awesome though lol

Metal is better as music. When I listen to music I don't want to hear some high pitched brat whining about his crush.
When I do feel like listening to music where some guy is whining about his crush I just listen to opera because the voices and music are so good.
When I listen to a man sing, I want it to actually sound like a man singing, not a 5 year old girl throwing a fit in a toy store.
Of course, emo sucks and metal kicks butt. I'm sure you know that, it's common sense.
One thing I'll give emo, though, is that it actually is music. It's just music that sucks. Rap isn't music at all by any definition of the word.

METAL!!!
1. Emo, so far, is a fad. Metal has lasted over 2 decades.
2. Lots of emo bands rip off metal riffs - I don't know whether this is intentional or they just don't know any better, but it's irritating when you hear an Iron Maiden riff from fifteen years ago being ripped off by some crappy emo band.
3. Metal is much more diverse. From Iron Maiden to Metallica to
Slipknot to Morbid Angel, there is way more to choose from. Emo pretty much all sticks to the same formula.
4. Emo kids cry. Metalheads don't. And one metalhead could beat up an entire emo band.

I like music that when you listen to it you can tell that whoever wrote it knows music theory. That's true opf about half the metal bands I've heard and none of the emo bands.
Therefore, metal is better.

All I'm saying on this: If you want to hear emo, go listen to Rites of Spring, Saetia, Yaphet Kotto, Sunny Day Real Estate, Texas is the Reason, or I Hate Myself. Those are REAL emo bands.
My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, Dashboard Confessional, and Taking Back Sunday are all horrible pop rock, not emo.

Metal is way better. All Emo bands seem to sound the same. Also there are many different sub genres of metal which gives you many different options.

metal because they come up with good headbanging riffs. Emo gets annoying and they cry too much. Download "rational Eyes" by Threat Signal or "Rehashed" by A Life Once Lost for cool metal songs. And "Blood Junkie" by Lamb of God.

Metal!!! Emo doesn`t exist!!! Metal rocks my world. Craddle of Filth, Nightwish, Deicide, Anorexia Nervosa among others, those are bands, That is Metal, just the best.
