THAT'S NOTHING !
The entire national debt obligation includeing all the entitlements is $125 - 150 TRILLION! as of 2005. Bushit has asked for another $72 BILLION for Iraq. We all know he is spending even more this year than last year. Our 06 debt could be $155 TRILLION! Do the math people we have 300,000,000 people.

Bushit is running America broke ! Where is that loud cry from our elected officials about this wasted money on such a vast scale ? Where is the media screaming about this abuse of power? Why is such an overwhelming amount of wasted money not making the citizens storm DC ?

The smoke and mirrors propaganda has us all preoccupied with the war, the price of gas, the price energy and everything else the gov can hide almost anything ! This beyond any level of acceptable behavior for any gov.

HOW LONG WILL WE STAND BACK AND ALLOW OUR FUTURE TO BE BANKRUPTED?

I WOULD SAY WE WERE PREOCCUPIED!

VOTE THEM OUT!

AND HURRY BEFORE WE ARE BROKE !

Wow, a city that consists of nothing but houses - no roads, utilities, levees, etc. Did you know that other areas of the Gulf coast were hit, too? The $250bln is NOT for New Orleans, it is for rebuilding the Gulf coast. Take THAT population and do your fuzzy math. Is it any worse than the almost $306bln we've spent "rebuilding" Iraq? That's $12000 for every Iraqi. Of course, there's fewer Iraqis every day, so that number goes up.

What exactly is buggeting, anyway?

Not everyone does. Besides, it does not have to be a choice. If the USA brings in reform, then costs will be cheaper. FACT - Insurance companies in the USA admit to pushing up prices, buying politicians and not paying out claims when they should [a] FACT - PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet [b] FACT - Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare [c] FACT - the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal health coverage [d] FACT - Obama was elected by the American people to bring in change [e] FACT - Obama wants to stop insurance companies screwing the American people [f] FACT - The reforms Obama wants work in the Netherlands and in Switzerland [g] If anyone can prove the facts above are wrong, e-mail me and let me know.

If Bush hadn't taken us to Iraq we'd have billions of dollars to spare beyond the 250 it's gonna cost to rebuild the Gulf Coast.

well... that's per person... where did she want it to go though?

I'm sure it wasn't to be divided equally between all those that lost houses...

I'm sure she had plans for the money... did you care enough to read what they were?

I'm willing to be that much of the money would be going to businesses that incurred much more loss and government buildings which will need millions of dollars each to fix...

but, oh, I guess you forgot THAT THERE ARE OTHER THINGS BESIDES HOMES IN NEW ORLEANS AND THESE THINGS TAKE MONEY?

Why not? The cons want to give Iraq billions of dollars which we should be spending in this country taking care of our people.

Be assured 90% of that money would go to commissions, goverment employees and people who agree to help her with her mission.

Don't forget hospitals, government offices and other such things would be included.

It is irresponsible budgeting.

Where do you live ******? You probably live in the South and the taxes from the blue northern states went into building your roads and stop signs. You can't even spell budgeting! Shut up, eat $hit and die. Repuglican vermin.
