last night i had these really bad cramps,...it was time for my period i never had had cramps,...and these cramps went on from last night 3 o'clock in the morning until 9 o'clock,..i was almost banging my head and body against the wall from hurt!!!i kept screaming and couldn't breathe....theni went to an gynecologist,...he gave me anitbiotics!!!to be xact: doxycycline...why?

Yuo may have pid (pelvic infammatory disease), which is basically an infected uterus. Take a few days off, rest, and drink lots. See webmd, they have a really good article about it.

For starters why didn't you ask your Dr. why he was giving you antibiotics? There can be a number of reasons for cramps, it is a normal part of having your period, obviously you must of had some form of infection or he wouldn't of given you anything, it is possible that you had sists on your ovaries and that is why, if I were you I would find out from the Dr. why!

That true, you should always ask questions.
I can't tell you why but I can tell you
if you are in pain from cramps,
a heating pad helps tramendously!
Put it on you belly & then on your back
(If your back hurts too)
Also try ThermalCare or ThermaCare (?)
For when you have to move around or go somewhere.
I hope you feel beter soon!

just before you start your cycle you retain water, if not care full u retain more than usual which can result in bladder infections just before you start , cranberries are great for women all the time
