Public hair should not be shave.
It actually helps to reduce bacteria and germs from getting into the penis. Although it is quite embarresed but I think your doctor will understand.
Shaving your public hair may cause skin disease to your penis.
It will be painful too.

shaving the pubic hair will cause itch but after a few more times of shaving the itch will be lesser as you will get used to it. however, it might need to be shave every 2 days or so. the reason is because the pubic hair will grow back very fast and you will need to shave to get rid of the itch.
even when the doctor sees its being shaven, its not so weird or wrong also. reason being that the shaving is personal need. not the doctor's request. so if you feel like shaving the pubic hair off, you can do so. it is your personal choice.
Otherwise, you can also choose to trim the pubic hair. trimming the pubic hair short and neat can be another alternative for you.
so either way is not a wrong choice.

Well-- To heck with what the doctor thinks.,WHAT ABOUT IN THE LOCKER ROOM AT SCHOOL.**** what will you do in the locker room at school?I mean wouldn't you be embarrassed in front of the other guys? What will oyou do when it is spread all over school that your a bald eagle there? Boys your age usually do not shave their pubic hairs.I know my teenage son would be mortified to change if he shaved.I think you need to think long and hard about this,b/c when it starts to grow back in,usually within a few days,it itches like crazy. What if you it started itching while you were at school or with your friends?Scratching down there may make people think you have crabs or something.I just don;t think it is a good idea for you to shave down there.

Yes you should, dont shave with a razor though, you need a thin comb and scissors, what you want is a short trim not a bald effect. Be very careful not to cut skin with the scissors though, believe me this hurts, happened to me once, knicked by ball sac; I do this once a month, according to mens health magazine its a myth that if you shave your hair comes back thicker, so what do you have to lose.

Do whatever makes ya happy, dude. If you shave it though, it will itch like mad when it starts to grow back. My female personal experience is that once you start shaving, you won't be able to stop. My husband uses an electric beard trimmer once and a while. I know I'm a lady and all, but being married to a man w/ similar complaints, I can understand what you mean.

It does not matter if you shave/trim or not. But once you shave/trim, it will becomes thcker and longer than the original, and you have to do it very often. and you feel more embarresed than now when it grow long.

yes, it is ok. In fact, women expect a guy to keep it trimmed neatly - does not have to be shaved.
get a pair or electric trimmers and put one of the plastic guards on it so you don't cut it shorter than you want and so you don't nick your ding ding. I'd done that a few times. OUCH! It is pretty scary to see bright red blood on your sack.
