is there something wrong with my boyfriends kidneys?serious question?

my boyfriend just told me that his kidneys are hurting him really bad .last night he couldnt sleep and at 6 in the moring he took the biggest dump ever and then he felt a lil better at 10 this moring his kidneys started up again and he took another hige crap and felt better now his at work and telling me he feels the serious pain again .im worried because he doesnt ever complain about pain .what could it be and is it serious?

I would suggest that your boyfriend see a doctor as soon as possible. Any harsh pain should never be ignored.

I truly hope he has not formed kidney stones. I have had a number of kidney stones in the past, and I would not wish that pain on even my worst enemy. The pain from kidney stones is usually a sharp stabbing pain in the lower back towards the side where the stone is lodged. If the pain starts to move from the lower back, to the groin region that means that he could be in the process of "passing the stone" If it is a stone, and it begins to make its way out of the body he will definitely know it is happening. Passing of stones has been equated to childbirth pain-wise.

Hopefully his x-rays will not show anything serious, and he will be just fine. But it is best to have it checked out.

You sound like me - He sounds exactly like my Scorpio ex. For that reason. i had problems before and i got surgery cuz of kidney stones but never had to take huge dumps this sounds serious

I would try to see that he goes to the ER. These are bad symptoms. I don't know if it's his kidneys, but something is wrong.

i dont know what taking a huge dump has to do with it but he might have a kidney stone. it he not unrinating his kidneys could be blocked.
