Husband and I are going to a b-day party for a guy who we sort-of fell out of touch with but still consider a friend but more an acquaintance at this point. He works in hospital admin (a high-level position) and enjoys long-distance running. I am at a total loss as to what to get him and we don't have a lot of money to spend, only $30. By the way, he lives out of town and we are making a special trip (two nights lodging) with our two year old in order to go to the party.

I do a bit of distance running and i believe a great gift would be a small back pack water bottle a pair of brand name socks and a cool training shirt , it shows you payed interest in what he does it shows that you shopped for the gift ...ps ... then you could put a road map in there and mark your address there tell him to stop in in his running travels just for a joke

in case you recognize his pastimes then bypass to a book shop and get some large books that he could get exhilaration from. Or a present certificate to an section the position he frequents, like a cofee keep or restaraunt, or videos, etc...If money is not any merchandise then something really cool can be a warm air balloon journey or an total spa treatment. desire that facilitates, reliable success!
