I once removed a 2 week old tampon from a 14 yr old girl. She put it in and thought she took it out but only took out the applicator, so the tampon stayed behind without her knowing. True story.

I had to remove magots from a person's ear one time. I don't get queasy but this ranked up there as one of the sickest things. The magots, if you don't know, are worms that hatch from fly eggs. They are the worms that eat dead tissue. This guy had a ton of magots in his ear. It was quite interesting.
