Eat less and exercise more. There is absolutely nothing else you need to do to lose weight. Forget about all those fad diets, etc.

From experience, I've lost 40 lbs in 2 years. I lost 30 lbs in the first year and 10 lbs in the next year. For 8 years I did nothing but sit on my butt, but since I started working out, I've lost a huge amount of weight, so I know exactly what I'm talking about. I used to eat a 12" Subway sandwich for lunch and a half chicken Boston Market for dinner, along with 4 Cokes, and usually some type of snack throughout the day. Now, I eat a 12" Subway for my entire day (6" for lunch, 6" for dinner), only water or milk, nuts for snacks, and I work out 5 times a week.

You have to be committed to both things: eating less AND exercising more. Doing only one of them will not help you lose weight.

You need to take a long hard honest look at exactly what you eat. Chances are you are eating a lot of junk food, and just sitting around doing nothing. If you are like an average American, you should eat half of what you normally eat, and do not eat until you are stuffed, eat until you are no longer hungry. Also, exercise at least 1 hr a day, from walking, or running, or playing sports.

Losing weight requires a COMMITTED LIFESTYLE CHANGE. Nothing else will help you lose weight, not South Beach Diet, Atkins, anorexia, bulimia, etc.

When you start a new diet it takes 6 wks for your body to adjust to it and then you will start to lose weight. The problem with diets are that you are usually restricted and then you cheat.
You need to make a lifestyle change. Make a list for a couple of day's to see what you eat, and then count calories. I know this sounds like a lot but most people are creatures of habit and eat a lot of the same things. Then cut down to 1200 calories a day up to 1600 calories a day. If you are really overweight try and stay at 1200 but don't beat yourself up if you go over. Cut back on the sugary things eat more whole wheat and whole grains and fill up on them. If you need a treat have 1 not 2 you can do it as long as you stay in your calories. Peanut butter is a good thing to eat if you are craving something sweet. Then no matter what you are doing exercise if you are washing dishes do side and back kicks, do push ups against the wall, lay on the floor and do the bicycle and crunches. As you walk do lunges, you can also act like you are air boxing. I dropped 2 pant sizes and still going doing this. If you have a lot of weight to lose starting out slow as you lose weight it will give you incentive to give up even more junk food and exercise more. Good Luck

Sometimes when people cant lose weight it may not be a weight problem but your colon may be blocking up and that can lead to colon cancer. Check out this site www.7dmc.com and see this pill that cleanses you all throughout. Itz only about $100 and when i get enough money i will buy it too! My grandma passed from colon cancer and i dont want the same to happen to me or my family and friends so you should do the same and add years to your life and lose the "weight"!

hi
Well this programme helped me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good Luck

It's harder than it sounds. Have you really tried EVERYTHING? How long did you try whatever you tried? It takes a long time to see results-- I've been eating really well and working out a ton all summer, and I'm just now starting to see some results. Patience!

You're still eating too much or not exercising enough. Maybe you don't need to lose any weight?

Maybe you were born to be a bigger person? Have you eaten healthy and exercised for 1-2 hours daily? Maybe you should try those methods!

Define everything. I doubt you are trying hard enough, or you are pulling some lame idea that if you diet diet diet, that you can reward yourself with some chocolate or something. I answered a similar question the other day. chcek it out and see if it helps.
