I don't know how many packets it takes but I would sure like to have Angelina Jolie in the tub with me.

1 cup of cold water to 1 packet of gelatin mix. Let's say the bathtub is a standard 65 gallon tub but you only want to fill about 50 gallons of it so it doesn't overflow or risk overflowing if you are going to play in it. 4 cups to a quart and 4 quarts to a gallon, so 16 packets for every gallon. 16 times 50 =800, so you will need 800 packets of gelatin and 800 cups of water.

Are you making regular Jello in the bathtub or are you planning to fill it without adding water?
That would be a really neat college stunt (charity raising) to fill a bath with (warm) Jello and lie in it till it set! Much more pleasant than cold baked beans!
