I don't think it really works that way. It usually starts when you
can't stand not having a sexual release.
That is to say, most people don't say: I am 14 now. I shall
masturbate.
Most people say: Damn that person was hot. I'll never have
him or her, but I need to get rid of this feeling or I will burst.
If you don't want to do it, you certainly don't have to!

I think around 13 or 14. Thats when I started to masturbate. But only do it if you feel comfortable with your body.

i would not think it matters on how old you are my cousins are 7 and 8 and they are always getting in trouble for playing with them selfs so i just guess it depends on the child cause i have heard of younger and boys do explore them self so i have heard that they start young too i have a 4 year old i always yell at him cause he is always putting his hand in his pants

It doesn't matter. If you discover it on your own it's not wrong to do it. And if you hear about it and want to try it that is fine too. You shouldn't have to do anything however. If you dont feel comfortable doing it then don't.

my friend's brother started at 11 and i started at 12 so it really doesn't matter....enjoy!
