You need to have a Yahoo! 360 to be able to put a actual picture by your name on this site :)
The only image you can add is a cartoon, to do this:
> Click on 'My Q&A"
> Click on "Edit my info"
> On the Picture section, choose "Use my avatar" or "Create an avatar"
> Then it will bring you to another website to create your avatar :)

You need a Yahoo 360 account,then save a picture and go to my page,go down to edit my personnel details or if your a first time user go on add a photo and once you've selected your pic/photo go down and click on the blue save button and then it should be here on yahoo answers

Double click on your avatar it will take you to the homepage of your personal profile and select an avatar of your choosing,then click to have the avatar displayed all the time.

you have to choose an avatar for yourself or a pic i think you have you go to where you sign in and edit your profile or something.
