I have had a sort of 'lesbian' experience when I had some downstairs trouble and saw a female gyno. She had very kind eyes and although the whole experience was very professional it was weird. Luckily I had something and nothing but I often wonder if it was my vivid imagination or if she was one?

She was a professional and she is probably so sick and tired of seeing vagina's all day that yours didn't make her look twice. I am sure it was just your imagination.

Weird. I have a male gyne, but he is gay so I never have those kind of troubles. I prefer a man in case of something like this anyway. Maybe it was you, did you like her? I work in health care and some patients are attracted to docs in a position of power or who helps them. I have heard of lesbians and gays talk about "the look" that other gays and lesbians give when they think they are making a connection witih another lesb/gays. Really, it depends on how you feel about it. Since you are seeing her again you will be able to read the situation better, if you were freaked out then don't go back. Good luck !

I have no issues with people's sexuality, if there are consenting, mentally healthy adults.

I would be concerned if a doctor was making any kind of advance, but it seems that was not the case.

You may have been experiencing a number of strong and conflicting emotions. Or there may have been an attraction.

Do you want to see her socially? Maybe you should consider asking.

Sorry I just don't know how else to advise you.

Hopefully it was your vivid imagination. You shouldn't be able to tell by the way your doctor looks at you, if she's a lesbian. But you sound bi-curious, you should definitely experiment.

I don't think so. One she's your doctor she or he should be kind. It's already a very unpleasant experience and she was probably try to make you less scare. It was probable your imagination and curiousity of her. Check yourself out. Maybe you are attracted to girls, only you can answer that question.

Does it matter? Even doctors and nurses can be kind and full of compassion, even the straight ones. Caring for someone with concern is not sexual. It's common.
