Because of the 1979 takeover of the American Embassy and the
imprisonment of 127 American hostages for 444 days which is a
declaration of war, but the USA that the time had a sissified wuzzie as a president by the name of Jimmduh Carter who did
not do anything about it which is a sign of weakness in the eyes of the Islamic world. That is why the USA does not have any diplomatic relations with IRAN.

tm_tech has only started to point out why the US and Iran disagree. There is a lot more to it. No one person should have the ultimate power over a group of people is one point. If you steal food in the USA you will get in some kind of trouble but you will be given something to eat not have your arm cut off or publicly have your arm crushed by a car running over it. As was done to I 5 year old boy of which I have pictures of.
The main thing is Iranians are NOT humane, People should not have to live in such a place. Sure they say they like it but if they don't say they love to be done wrong they will have their finger nails pulled out slowly and parts of their bodies cut off a small piece a time.
And I am only touching the edge of the wicked things that is done to pepole in that country.

Because Iran has dreams and goals, that only America stands in the way of. Namely the complete conquest of the Middle East and reverting the world into a 14th century Islamic state.
Most of Europe is far to gutless and weak, Russia and China encourage them, leaves only the good old US of A to keep the world safe and free.

Well its about there nuclear program. The US and the UN has told iran to back off of there nuclear program. they have until august 31 to dimantle or else. maybe military action
