I wouldn't be surprised--Napoleon invaded Egypt and occupied it for a time. I'd be amazed if there wasn't some interaction.

Probably. When Napoleon invaded Egypt, the fleet that took him there was destroyed by the British navy at Aboukir Bay, which stranded the French army. Napoleon returned to France, but the army had to remain there for a while. Soldiers in an occupied land with nothing to do?? Fill in the blanks. ;-)

that's not true. maybe some have french blood but not many of them. egyptians are arabs.
french been there like they been in russia and many other places. before the french in ancient egypt, europeans (romans,greeks) were there too.
the people around Mediterranean have common routes because they been in contact with each other for many millenniums but we can't call a nation like the egyptians french because the french were there for a few years.
