Mine came over time it happen over years, but you notice your a lesbian when you have a desire to be with a woman, when a man try to make a pass at cha but it doesn't phase you at all. Or when you are at the mall and you start checking chicks out or anywhere then you know your Lesbian and you don't wanna man anymore, you feel that you can do with out them then know your les.

My experience certainly came over time - nearly a decade. When I was 12 I first felt it and then all through my teenage years. Initially it was female celebrities and I found that they were the strong character ones so I thought maybe I was just looking for a strong female guide.
Then in high school I had a friend that I was so comfortable. We used to rest in each other's arms and it got me all excited. That is when I knew I guess. It would be another 4 years until I found out definately.
I met a girl through a friend I worked with. I asked her out and from that moment on I realized I was soooo gay. People had guessed it already but they were waiting for confirmation. No one had to make me realize - I think I had to realize in my own time.

I fell in love with her as a person and not the fact that she was a female. We were working together and we ended up going to an A. Keys concert. At the time I was with my ex but something about this women made me fall in love. She just kind of fell from heaven and into my heart. Weve been together over a year now and I couldnt ask for anyone better!

I have always loved women eversince I was younger, coz I always had crushes on grrls and never boys. Altho' I did have just one crush on a guy once but that's another story. Heheh.
My first crush on a girl was when I was 11 and it just developed after that. At 14, I had my first girlfriend, then I had another girlfriend who was my crush at that time... (I was torn between two lovers, literally!) and I guess it was because of them that made me realize I like grrls more than boys. Then when I read alot of lez fanfic on the internet, then it hit me. GRRLS, I wanna be with them! Heheh. So I guess it basically developed over time.
However, since I'm still in the closet, I know my feelings are there (oh yes, very much in there waiting to explode, heheh) but I still have to muster the courage to admit it to myself as well as to close family members. ;o)

the realisation that i liked woman hit me on the face like a brick. realizing i was a lesbian took a bit of time though.

It came progressivly to me over a period of 2-3 years. It started when i was in middle school and i would date boys but i could never keep my eyes off girls i thought this was wrong since i was a jehovahs witness. ( i was secretly dating) so i had sex with 3 different men. didnt enjoy it. fell in love with a woman and had a beautiful and happy relationship for 1 and a half years.
I knew because i never felt attracted to men, when i had sex with men i never had any "pleasure" but with a woman it was like i was set on fire with passion. Hope this helps :)

If you are with a man and constantly thinking of a woman,that's a pretty good hint.If you see a woman and think she is so nice you would like to make love to her that's a pretty good hint.Either you have feelings for the same sex or you dont.If your confused then try it and then you'll know for sure if that's how you want to live your life.Good luck

looking back...I always was drawn to women. as a child, I didn't realize what those feelings were about. no one talked about that subject when I was little. I had crushes and was confused and just blew it off. my friends had boyfriends..and I just wasn't interested. but then, my 1st semester of college I met this gal that I just fell head-over-heels for that I had several classes with. well, she was straight, so I never told her. but because of her, the lightbulb finally went on!

I fell in love with my best friend. And yeah, it hit me in the face.. it was the last thing I expected, but we couldn't fight it.
