The Montreal Canadian's were the team that won the Stanley cup in 1986. There were the seventh-placed team and they were playing the sixth-placed team The Calgary Flames. Alos the Canadian's goalie(Patrick Roy)won MVP of those playoff's. It was a 4-3 victory in game 5 it gave the Canaidna's there 23rd Stanley Cup
