I think the obvious answer is why do you want to check it? Frankly, if you want to look at it, you are going to have to bend over double, get a speculum and a flashlight.

If you just want to feel it, reach up inside yourself with your long middle finger (be careful not to scratch yourself with your fingernail) and feel around. It might give you a general idea of what things are like inside there.

If you don't want to do any of that, why not see a OB/Gyn? They will check it for you and let you know that everything is OK.

Unfortunately, the only way to do this is you or your partner needs to insert their finger into your vagina pretty far to reach your cervix. It's either open (not very wide) or closed and high or low.
