For sunburns I have always used the vitamin E gelatin capsules. I poke a tiny hole with a needle and use the vitamin E gel all over my face. It's best to do this before bed. Be sure to put a clean towel on your pillow. Hope this works. It always has for me.

Here's a little hawaiian trik~Use Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Gel (u can get it at walgreens). Put it on once every hour, for 2 to 3 days after you burn. If your skin soaks it up you should put it on twice an hour. Your burn will turn into a very nice tan! Also if you have really dry skin anyway, you should use the Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion, it has aloe in it and wont make your face hurt even more.
~Good luck with your tan!

1. Sunscreen
2. Aloe Vera Gel
3. Facial Moisturizer
The top layer of your skin has been burned by the sun. If it is peeling that means it is healing. It's going to peel to matter what you do. Just don't pick at it too much because you could cause scars.

Use sunblock! Then you don't have to worry about burning and peeling.
Since you are already fried, try aloe vera gel. Fruit of the Earth clear aloe gel is really good. You can get it at Wal-Mart for less than four dollars. Don't use the green. It contains ingredients that are not good for your skin.

keep aloe vera on it, that will help with the burn. it may keep it from peeling but it may not. when the burn goes away and you peel, mix up get some apricot scrub to exfoliate the dead skin, it works like magic. if you cant afford it, use a mixture of sugar and lotion. about a cup of lotion to 4 tablespoons of sugar.

It'll just have to peel. Keep applying Lubiderm (it's the best!) and you'll get through it. Wear sunblock when you're at the pool!
