I am looking for Native American legends about the Orca, from the pacific northwest preferably. Please post your source with your answer. Thanks...

Uh... No offense str8_up_n8tv...but no kidding that Kiowa-Otoe probably have no stories or history about Orca Whales, considering general location in the Midwest and all... Can't say there are none when there are so many diverse tribes/Nations...odd...

NOW... Look around online for tribes/Nations in western Canada, Alaska (and maybe the very north west of the U.S.?). I don't know anything about those tribes, but I know there are images and carvings I've seen depicting the whales, along with other animals, so tribes that actually DID (and do) encounter them more then likely have stories and live up that way.

Check out the movie, free willy (the first one) I'm pretty sure it gives info. on the legend. Just a suggestion.

I'm a native american,there are no legends about them,I know alot aboutmy tribe and culture....KIOWA-OTOE
