what? How can a girl be easier than a boy or visa versa? Your question makes no sense.

I think it's easier to be either, depending on the situation. You can't take that question out of context and apply it to an unknown situation. For example, in dating, it's easier to be a guy because women already have a preconceived notion about men and women in general expect certain "unappealing" actions in men (not that I mind, but like watching sports, etc). Girls have it easier when it comes to legal issues (traffic tickets). I dunno. I'm glad I'm a girl so I can be a wimp!

My boy was much easier to be with when he was young, more difficult as he reached his teens (the pulling off of mother's apron strings!). The girls were entirely opposite - little hellions when they were small, and as they pass through their teens they become closer.
The trouble with babies is the same as their saving grace... they grow up into humans!

raising boy only need protection from drugs and alcohol
raising girl need protection from the same as above plus from other boys (girl can get pregnant from a underage relationship)
so boy is easier

I have one of each, and I don't think either is easier, just different. In some ways I guess I have a bit easier of a time with my daughter, but only because I think it is easier for me to relate to her than my son.

My son, he was the second child and I think that makes a difference too. The birth wasn't easier he was a whopper !!!!

When they are toddlers, I think the boys are harder. Once they get a little older, I think it's the girls that are toughest.
