i don't hate it and i aint got problems with soccer, i just don't like watching it.

i dont hate it but with two rule changes it will be much better.
First, get rid of the offsides rule. Its stupid and it removes so much creativity from the game. Put a line at each teams 30 yard line and if the ball is inside it, there is no offsides. That would increase scoring and excitement.
Second, end the game correctly. Dont end it with penalty kicks. I watched the italy vs france finals game and was very disapointed with the ending. In baseball, if its tied at the end of the game they keep playing. At the end of a football game if tied they keep playing, they dont line up the kickers and kick till one misses. In basketball if the game ends in a tie the dont have a free throw contest, they keep playing. In the hockey playoffs, they dont have penalty shots.
As for why most people dont like it, not enought scoring i guess.

Huh soccer is ok i dont hate it Its play Way more than football (america) Football only good in usa but world wide soccer dominates football

Why do so many people want to ram this dumb game down our throats?
We will enjoy what we have and you can enjoy your soccer and stop bugging us about it.
PS:I don't think it is a gay sport,just don't like it.

It's very unorganized-- I don't understand what they're doing. If the only way to win is to score, why do they only shoot at the goal 3 times a game? WHy don't other players block for the guy with the ball to get him closer to the goal?

low score, not alot of action, there is no strategy, its not much of a team sport.
admit this, watch a game and see how much action there is. american football, there is strategy, audible calls, plays to be made, excitement, like baseball, there is more involved then a net and ball. like soccer

i dont hate soccer i think soccer is an excellent sport so not all guyss hates it .

It's an hour and a half long, and if there are three scores, it's a high scoring game...you just watch people run up and down a field. (besides, ya can't clobber anybody...)

because they just jog around and kick a ball and don't even use their hands, and what good is muscles anyway, if you're just jogging around kicking a ball. that's boring, i wouldn't call it "gay" because gay means happy, i think it boring.
