he comes from a 'broken home' his dad left him when he was born and his mom has been raising him since he was born alone, she puts herself before him and when he's over at his best friend's house (almost every night) she has to remind him to take a shower, i'm not going to let that come between us but i don't want to take him places when he smells so bad. how do i let him know without being like you stink babe, don't come near me until you take a shower. his hair is so nasty it mats down when he brushes it. HELP!!! What do i do?

Tell him very sweetly that you understand that since he came up the way he did that he didn't get into the practice of proper hygiene but it's really bothering you and it's bad for his health so for the sake of your relationship it would help if he could take 1 shower a day,(that way at least he'll land on every other day) then make him feel special - buy some bath and grooming products just for him, and give him the spa treatment give him a manicure, a bubble bath, wash and cut his hair, and when he's looking and smelling good have a special meal w/ some wine or champagne then give him a special reward(hint hint) then he'll know "when I look and smell good, she'll get next to me". But if you condone the body odor he'll never do anything about it. - If he loves an respects you he will realize you're only telling him because you love him and he'll make that change - If he's not willing to make such a small change for his sake as well as yours then move on girlfriend

Buy him a gift set from bath and body works, and then say, "i got an idea, lets take a shower together and try it out." Light some candles, put on some music and lather him down, then top it off with a nice hot oil aromatherepy massage. Tell him how much his new scent turns you on and you want him to smell like that all the time because it drives you crazy. I'm sure hell get the point and learn to adapt.

If you love this guy raise the topic and be frank do not beat about the bush as he may not get it if you are at the stage of sex then take a shower together and once he is clean if you are able to get him in the bath put candels etc and say you have always wanted to do this that way he will think you are being nice if he likes it make it a regular thing

Why don't you ask him if you can give him a spa or something?
You can also suggest or tell him to come with you to a spa/parlor just for pampering.
If in case you guys are at the grocery store, try to pass by the soap, shampoo or deodorant ranks and get some for yourself and ask him if he needs something from there. Or suggest a brand that really smells good.

You must be kidding! How long has this been going on? What does that say about you. I couldn't stand it me being the person I am I would tell him listen you need to wash up, shower, bathe and brush your teeth each and everyday no exception. Do you all have sex God forbid if you do. Are you immune just like he is. Is it HOT where you all are? If so may GOD have mercy on your souls!

I would tell him how nice he smells when he does take a shower. I would compliment him and give him alot of hugs and kisses. When he doesn't shower I would keep my distance. I would not kiss him or hug him. If he asks you about it, tell him that you have a sensitive nose and that you really like it when he showers and takes care of himself. Tell him it makes him look so hot. Hope that works for you. Give it a try.

Someone will tell him sometime and in a rude way. You have to tell him. Tell him gently that hygiene is very important to you and the way he appears to the world.
I knew a guy, a friend of my daughters that was a little lax on using deodorant. Finally, they told him at this job! He was crushed and humilated, but he learned an important lesson.
Btw - can people who smell not smell themselves. YUCK

Get him to take a shower with you and then you can soap him down, shampoo his hair and he will think that its something sexual. Don't try this unless you are over 18.
