You don't want to look like a "gardening tool" your first day, I've seen what some girls wore last year and they probably came to school with doing anything since the night before straight from the corner of 42nd and main (if you know what I mean).

And don't wear anything that'll get you in trouble or anything. I remember the first day it was 90 degrees all the senior girls called each other up and they all decided they were gonna wear spaghetti straps to school and since then I will never forget the announcement that everyone heard every half hour on the half hour.

don't be too wild or too conservative. i'm no longer asking you to be like anybody else (because i'm in contact with individuality) yet you would possibly want to dress someplace contained in the middle till you spot what anybody else is wearing. I mean.... with the aid of the proper of the school twelve months.. or perhaps next week, human beings are unlikely to shop in ideas what you wore on the first day. i comprehend that is critical to make a good first impact after the summer, in spite of the undeniable fact that! Ummm.... purely be your self, that way, human beings received't get the incorrect impact. Like if you're showing way too a lot dermis, they'll with out delay lable you some thing you do not opt to be labled previously the twelve months even begins! dress lovable and interesting, yet no longer appealing yet. and performance an outstanding first day! =) BTW: i'd be a freshman in intense college this twelve months too!!! =)

Hmmm...depends on your style. I read the Sept Seventeen Issue today. Had a lot of good ideas in it. It is the issue with Christina Aguilera on the cover. I would definitely buy it if I were you. There are about 8 different types of highlighted styles. My favorite was the "Eclectic." It had an Asian chick, who was dressed kind of like Gwen Stefani. That was more my style. But if I were you, I would grab that issue, since it has a lot of options, and all of the clothes are accessible, and not overly expensive. Good luck!

Wear what you would wear for for middle school. There is no difference between Middle and High school other than teachers.

No one cares how you look (In cloths)
Dont break the dress code though, i mean. Whats a person to like a girl when all they want to do is show their bodies?

Yeah I know how you feel. I am a freshmen in high school too. I think you should wear something that you think is cute. That's what I am doing because I know at school there is someone there that will dress worser than me. I hope you are not comparing yourself to what your friends are wearing because what you wear you friends might ask to BORROW!

well its hard to say cause i dont know where you live so i'd tell you to wear jeans but if its too hot for that then maybe a denim skirt...i say stay simple on the bottom...then go to the mall and buy a really cute shirt or two (and layer them...the layered effect is really cool) then get some chunky beads to wear around your neck and maybe a funky pair of sandals that match your shirt and beads.

Something comfortable that you feel at ease in. Don't wear all new things just buy a few and combine with items you already have and show people your funky style. DON'T be a CLONE of popular people because they have no originality.

I was in high school a long time ago...but I wore a fashionable pair of jeans and a cute t-shirt that was in style back then...fun shoes and a cute purse. Be comfortable and yourself!

Cookie, wear something that is really you and you will attract people who appreciate your own style. If your personal style is pretty wild, then be prepared for reactions from those who don't like your style. High school can be rough.
