You should dress up a little. Make a good impression. Dress to impress, not distract. I really think it will affect the way that teacher looks at your child if you make an inappropriate first impression.

Is this your kids' teacher?
Are wanting to shag the teacher?
What does it matter? You're there to meet someone to establish a rapport for the benefit of the one being taught.
Just wear clothes, the teacher won't care, you're one of a bunch that they'll be meeting that night.

i wouldnt over dressand i wouldnt make it too casual either. the red top sounds good so go with it. as long as ur decent its all good :)
