I want to see it but I will probably wait till it's out to rent. And of course we know what's going to happen. The movie is about two firefighters who were rescued from one of the towers after it collapsed, and the heroics of those two men.

Also...why are we so quick to forget that it happened? It's part of American history now, and should never be forgotten. It should be remembered not only as a day of sadness, but as a day of incredible heroics by practically everyone in NYC, and Washington DC, as well.

Most definitely. Oliver Stone is a wonderful director and so are the actors. Let's see it first before we criticize it, okay? Give it a fair shake.

No way! I feel it is far to early for the issues that this event raised, and the trauma, which is still raw for the victims' families, to be shown in a film.

Sure, war films were being made just after, and even during, the Second World War, but these were exciting action films with poetic license, i.e. scenarios embellished by Hollywood. It was tasteless to do this to such a serious, life changing global event such as 9/11.

I cried when I saw the trailer for the first time, and again when I saw it again last weekend. Too soon. Sorry.

Not me, I can't even imagine how they felt when people were there when it happened. Why watch something that was made for the purpose of money anyways? All the movie is, is a another way the film business can extract money from viewers. Make it a documentry or something, not some action packed film as it is. They should have just talked about the lives of the people, etc instead.....

Oliver Stone botched up JFK with a bunch of false conspiracy theories and personifying a wacky lawyer as a hero.

I doubt this is going to be any better.

Another movie to "remind" us about 9/11. (i.e., profiteering off of it)

Probably not--I saw it live on TV and I do not want to go through that again. It was a very traumatic event for many Americans and many do not want to have those emotions bought up again.
