ok if you got this far you are now connected to the internet you just need to go to the website where you want to download the info from and follow and links (usually those pesky underlined blue words you see around). Or if yyou want things like pictures just put the mouse on top of the picture and right click and use the save image as... by left clicking on it and choosing where to save it may I recomend My Documents then My pictures for pictures and create a folder named downloads in My Documents and download all your files to one spot (It saves having to remember where you put it)

u can use internet explorer, netscape, firefox, or any browser to access the internet

well.. we're gonna need more details, like is it dial-up? or DSL? and do you need help with the proxy? port? DNS? IP address? etc....
