Some places its illegal to get rid of them...
They really are beneficial and tend to go away when it colls down with the seasons.
They really are harmless, and eat all kinds of " bad" isects and mosquitos.
I would suggest leaving them alone.
They usually live in trees, caves, rocks, cliffs away from people.

Some websites try to sell ultrasonic sound emitters to get rid of bats, but they don't work. Some old wive's tales recommend the use of mothballs. You can even find bat traps on the market that may be illegal to use on bats. The only way to get rid of bats is to install a one way door and remove all of the bats and seal all of the entry points. See if you can find someone to build a box for such an act or look on the net to see what is out there to buy or get an idea to construct. Hope this helps!

Why would you want to? They are an asset! They eat mosquitos that carry the potentially deadly West Nile Virus and other insects that eat trees and plants. And their bat guano (poop) is good fertilizer!

You can put up a bat house. We have one on our light pole down the road. They are beneficial to have around. We have them and they never bother us and they are protected.

Must be some food source that is attracting them, so eliminate what they are feeding on and they will go somewhere else for dinner.

Use mylar balloons or aluminum foil strips, not sure why, but it keeps them away from my porch.
Good Luck!
