I'm not sure what exactly you mean... either you never watched Lost.... in that case:
"Lost is an American drama television series that follows the survivors of a plane crash on a mysterious tropical island, somewhere in the South Pacific. It was created by Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof, and is filmed primarily on location in Hawaii.... (wikipedia)"
or
if you've been whatching it and just don't understand the mystery about it.... My friend it is getting better and better now.... My theory is that...
the magnetic field surrounding the island is out of order now, so it was possible to locate the island for the first time in history since our forefathers (remember the statute with 6 tooth) hid it with the electro magnetic field.
Due to the GPS signal from the yacht, the rescue team has now the exact location of the island and they will head straigt towards it. If the "believer" wont be able to switch the field again (which will not happen) they will get rescued, but they will loose the magical touch of the island as well.
Remember the magic happened to John Lock, he can walk again, or to the black woman who is supposed to die but the island cured her.... if you take a closer look.... everyone get some sort of magical help.... some even without noticing it... like the doctor... he is now a leader, despite his father telling him that he doesnt have it what it takes....
But the main question is the story about the others.... they will explain they story and they think that Walt is going to help them.... i think that the others and the new stranded people will come together to solve the mystery about the island for good....

Mad folk stuck on an island who are understandably upset about the whole thing and convince there are hostile 'others' there. Luckily enough there is a doctor with them, phew. But they all have a past and we get to see that in a retro part of the episode or else it would just be them doing their washing, turning back the computer, playing poker, changing baby Aaron's nappies and picking papaya all day long.

Several different people who are the only survivors of a gruesome plane crash on a mysterious island have different types of clashing personalities, trying to find a new meaning in their lives now that they are deserted/ castaways. From what I hear its a pretty interesting show, I've seen a half an episode so far.
