EMO is a group of ppl that feel sad for themselves.
Gothic people feel sad for the whole world.

I have yet to see much differnce except that a group of people decided to give themselves a different title.

its EMO and it stands for "emotional". there is a huge difference between the two, namely: the music they listen to and the style of dress.
