There are seven levels in Yahoo Answers. If you click on your points total next to your avatar, it will take you to a page that explains all about the points and levels system.
If you answer more questions than you ask, give thumbs up or thumbs down to answers chosen as best, and help to choose a best answer for undecided questions, you will move up through the levels fairly quickly.

If you will notice in the top of the panel there is a block
"search for questions" if you type in your questions there you can find previous answers without using any of your points.
In answer to your question, there are 7 Levels.

there are 7 levels and the minimum amount of points to be there is 25000 and youre options here are limitless
