What is up with rubbing your win in people's faces? France gets called cry babies, Germany get called Nazis, England are now called cheaters...?

Yeah, I'm calling Italy cheaters because people like you, Dikk, called England cheaters, France crybabies, and Germany Nazis! You were asking for it, and you got it. You posted up a bunch of stupid questions rubbing Italy's win in our faces, and you don't like it when you get a taste of your own medicine.

Everything I wrote when I answered Dikk's questions is in response to him bashing other teams and rubbing Italy's win in everyone's faces. I was provoked.

Maybe if people like Dikk didn't post questions like this: "Why is Italy so good and other countries never win?"
"Why does everyone love Italy and not France?"
"When will France stop crying?"
and saying "England only won once and is undeserving because they cheated..." etc, etc....
as you can see, is he allowed to do that, but I can't say anything against Italy?

i sure can. i support brazil, always have. my team is great and the brazilians are fun and hospitable people. not to mention cool. i supported germany too in the world cup 'cuz they were amazing, the team had so much fight in them, and their pride of country was so touching. i also supported england because they never give up and one more defeat doesn't matter, they'll be back for the next round. and i supported france, too, because of zizou and because aging though they might be, they never showed it, fought on bravely and almost won it. unfortunately, italy was equal to the task, had the breaks, and so in the end it went to italy and that's that.

you know what's perplexing? all of italy saw their team win. we all saw it. their team took home the cup and even paraded it in the streets. but why the heck are they being still unbelieving and defensive about it? 'cuz i think that's what it's all about, this "rubbing their win in people's faces". it's incredible behavior. it's like in those barbaric times when the victors were not just content with winning, they had to parade the body parts around. extreme to compare, but that's how it strikes me. don't you guys even know how to win gracefully? it isn't hard to do and it actually doubles your victory. the losers are entitled to sourgrape, that's the privilege of losing, a consolation you might say, but you won and the trophy's in rome, as you like to say, so who's to take that away? only you can, and seems to me that's what you're doing when you trouble yourself trying to "defend" your win. Just enjoy it, peacefully if you can, and try to be nice to those who weren't as lucky.

You'd be surprised to learn this was a Brazil this, Brazil that forum, before the World Cup.
Everyone's a glory hunter it seems.
Now if you looked at my posts, I was saying months on end ago, Italy were going to win it. That's because they had a well balanced side in all areas, goal, defense, midfield and attack. Plus Lady Luck, decided to smile on them this time.
But if you support Portugal, Germany, France, the Ukraine, Ecuador, Argentina and Australia, you have every reason to be proud of your team.
Alas, your team England, did not perform to expectations, even you must concede that.
But as they say in football, there is 'always a next time'.

If the majority of the people here hate Italy and they started the hostilities calling them cheaters, divers, scumbags, etc, etc.
For once that someone rubs Italy's victory in other people's faces, there have been 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 Italian bashing posts on this forum.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone is allowed to support whatever team they prefer. but i think you have a point, we dont necessarily have to agree but do we have to put up with constant insults from some people???
it just annoys me and makes me not want to answer questions here anymore.
