Yes, I think their pitching is a little stronger, and it's good for Rivera to get that blown save out of his system now rather than later, he won't blow another one this year. Boston's pitching is suspect, even Beckett is inconsistent at times and gives up alot of home runs and the Yankees lineup can hit the long ball, but it's more the rest of the league the Red Sox have to worry about now because they are chasing the Yankees. The Yankees made nice moves at the deadline too, they will win the division.

Realx, dude. There are still 2 months left to play.
Plenty of time for the yankees to choke.
I'm hoping Boston wins that division and the central wins the wild card.
Would love to see the yankees NOT make the playoffs AT ALL.

well if the yankees start a losing streak then the sox the red sox basically either way. right now the sox r in a rough patch with good players (nixon,varitek) on the DL but if we can get them back in the season and shape up our pitching a little better the sox will definetely take the division

Absolutely, they have the best hitting and pitching. maybe not defense.. but who really cares? they will win the world series.
