I mean, we make a trade to get free TV and radio - we have to watch commercials. But when I pay to see a movie, I damn sure don't want to watch more commercials.

Don't mind previews, but the actual commercials piss me off. Just wait 10 more years and there will be intermissions in movies for more commercials... after that who knows?

Before the commercials and previews start, where I live they make us watch some dumb thing called "the twenty" by coca cola that is mostly ads for tv shows.

It is helpful if you are the sort that gets in late...

Before that, it was just a rotating slideshow of local ads, so if you were there for more than about five minutes, you'd see the same ones over and over.

And I agree that it is truly lame to see commercials for anything but movies at the movies.

I totally agree, I used to love watching the movie trailers before a move started but now it seems like there is more commercials than trailers. It sucks. I don't want to see a bunch of commercials when I go to the movies. I see enough of them on T.V.

certain it sucks that we ought to put up with categorized classified ads at a movie yet a persons'' creating wealth off of it. no matter if that's the theater, the filmmaker or both...and there is a fat danger in getting them to end it if a persons'' creating wealth. Booing gained't do any reliable. Throwing eggs on the reveal screen will in straightforward words get you kicked out & per chance arrested. now to not prepare makes it confusing to observe the action picture at the same time as it actual does commence. Theaters gained't care in case you *****, in order that long as you keep coming. Boycotting the theaters could do the trick, yet there'll under no circumstances be adequate those who do it to make a huge difference. Society takes it up the rear at present. no longer adequate human beings provide a damn to take a stand and wrestle for a reason. except lunatics like PETA & the ACLU.

I don't mind previews. But the crap before the movie even starts sucks a lot. Come to think of it, we're gettin hosed. WE pay $10 , pay another $12.75 for popcorn and soda, and then we have to sit through stupid commercials. I say we start a revolution! Whose with me!?

Definitely - with the prices of the tickets, food, drink, etc. And, then we all have to sit through commercials, like we're all watching TV together?!

OMG a trailer so saved my movie experience yesterday.

I wanted to see "Monster house" or "The Devil Wears Prada" ... but the buddy I was with stalled, and ran too many errands. So we get to the theater, and the "Monster house" was playing across the street ... and "The Devil Wears Prada" was already 18 minutes into the movie. So we decided to see "Talladega Nights ... the ballad of Ricky Bobby"; so not like my cute movies I WANTED to see ... I started pouting ... then went for popcorn ... when I came back, the previews were rolling, and there was my saving grace ...

SAVING GRACE --- Stevo -O & Jonny Knoxvill --- trailer for "JackA$$: Number Two" SAVING GRACE ... It so got me in the mood for the Hill-Billy movie I was about to see ... Hee-Hee: Ha-Ha: Ha-Ha: Hee-Hee: Ha-Hee: Hee-Ha
***Deep Breath*** Heeeeeee-Heeeeeee:Haaa-Haa ... OMG I can't wait to see this ... < Breath :-) >

Second SAVING GRACE --- the next trailer was a movie (DUNNO Forgot) about an Iranian immigrant in the USA trying to learn humor .... OMG ... That kept me laughing, and in funny spirits to enjoy Ricky - Bobby.
