doesnt matter if u didnt know him...show ur support to your cousin and his friend as im sure they're both going through hard times In a way, if u support the friend, ur supporting ur cousin too

yes, even if you don't know the deseased very well personally it would be a good idea to go so you can show yout cousin and friend support...
I went to my best friends uncle's memorial service even though I had never met the guy

yes ..go ..having had two family members of my own die 8 months apart, i cannot tell you how much it means to have support from friends and family. You will warm the heart of those in grief..and besides deep down inside you know its the right thing to do
